Zika Threat Removed from Caribbean

Zika Threat Removed CARPHA
Great news! – The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has announced that the Zika virus has been removed as a high level threat for the region by the World Health Organization as the Zika virus transmission in the Caribbean had been interrupted for over 12 months, or was at undetectable levels, thereby posing very little risk to residents and visitors to the Region. Additional data shared by Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, showed that no Zika had been detected for over 12 months in travelers returning from the Caribbean to their countries. #Zika #Caribbean #Anguilla #safe #zikathreatremoved
