Roselle and Aleck’s Beaches Edge Anguilla Wedding
On November 14, 2015 bride Roselle Trinidad and groom Aleck Che-Mponda, Jr. celebrated and stayed with family and friends at Beaches Edge Villas. The romantic ceremony was held on the back terrace and lawn of the East Villa with the estate’s panoramic views of the mountains of St. Martin and the sea as a backdrop. The spacious air-conditioned great room in the West Villa was reconfigured to accommodate intimate table rounds and chairs for an elegant sit down dinner and reception.
Crisp white linens and splashes of sunset hued florals set the mood. Reflecting their heritage, touching Tanzanian, Caribbean and Filipino traditions were incorporated into the ceremony, food (including special dishes cooked by their family) and decorations. After dinner, guests danced outside on the terrace under the stars. The party was able to linger on because there is no noise curfew at Beaches Edge due to its secluded location. Ernie Hodge of Couture Concepts Anguilla served as wedding coordinator and Dale Carty, a favorite guest chef at Beaches Edge and owner/head chef at the popular restaurant Tasty’s, managed the catering, bar service and wait staff.
